You don’t know what to bring from your holiday in Portugal? Need an idea for a gift from Lisbon? Are you looking for a Portuguese accent to decorate your apartment? Tired of Chinese fridge magnets? I have something special for you: a list of Portuguese brands and products, invented, created and made in Portugal!
1. Futah
The Futah brand produces beach towels, surf ponchos and blankets. Beautiful colors remind you of holidays and each pattern is named after one of the Portuguese beaches. The material used is durable 100% organic cotton. I’ve had the Futah towel for six years and it hasn’t lost its color at all!

2. Benamôr
The Benamôr company was founded in 1925 in Lisbon by a mysterious apothecary who created miraculous ointments in his laboratory at Campo Grande No. 189. The artisanal care recipes were based on unique perfumes and natural ingredients grown under the Portuguese sun: lemon, rose, aloe and almond oil. Packaged in adorable Art Deco tubes, the creams became an instant hit and every beauty in Lisbon, including Queen Amelia herself, became addicted to them.
Benamôr gave birth to some of the iconic Portuguese cosmetic recipes, such as Créme de Rosto, a miracle face cream – whose rose extract gives women an instant glow and prevents wrinkles – a recipe that remains unchanged to this day.
Today, Benamôr is still one of the most beloved Portuguese beauty brands, spreading its beauty products around the world. There are six stores in Lisbon, I will give you two addresses in the center:Rua do Loreto 6 and Rua Dos Bacalhoeiros 20A.
